Hypothesis: The band Nickelback chose their name because after someone plays one of their songs on a jukebox, the person says, “That song sucked. I want my nickel back.”

I think the important observation here is how the fuck did Nickelback get music into a jukebox before they were named such? I can only imagine how bad their music was before they changed their name.
After rereading the post I realize that was a hypothesis, so my point is irrelevant. Even so, I am not changing my mind on the previous statement.
